In the beginning . . .

Started as Austin Aquatics by Tim Hanson in 1995 Fishy Stuff is one of Austin, Texas oldest and most experienced aquarium service companies. Some of our proudest accomplishments are several systems we have maintained since our inception which were started in the early and mid '90s, one system reaching it's twenty second birthday this year. 

 Over the years we have had the privilege of setting up multiple multi-tank research systems for the University of Texas and the University of New Mexico at Las Crucias. We are also one of the few maintenance companies in the US that is able to thermoform acrylic and build tanks in house to meet our customer's unique aquarium needs. Recently we have had the opportunity working in concert with the owner of our oldest system to donate two show size colonies of the very rare Sinularia foliata to the Texas State Aquarium.
